These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bowlski mobile application ("Bowlski", "the app", "the service"), operated by Aidan Twamley ("we", "our", or "us"), based in Texas, United States. By creating an account or using Bowlski, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bowlski. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at bowlskiapp@gmail.com.
You agree to use Bowlski only for its intended purpose — tracking bowling stats, connecting with other bowlers, and participating in the community. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of all content you create and post on Bowlski, including game scores, photos, videos, text posts, and polls ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content within the Bowlski app solely for the purpose of operating the service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post the content you share and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We do not endorse or verify User Content posted by users.
The AI Scoreboard Scanner uses artificial intelligence to read bowling scorecard images. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally misread or misplace frames, particularly when images are low quality, poorly lit, or taken from a distance. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your scan results before saving. Bowlski is not liable for inaccurate stats resulting from AI misreads or user error.
By using the scanner, you acknowledge that your scoreboard photo will be sent to Google Gemini's API for processing. Photos are not stored permanently. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Bowlski offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription ("Bowlski Pro"). The following terms apply to Bowlski Pro:
Bowlski allows users to create and join groups for leagues, bowling centers, friend groups, teams, and communities. Group admins are responsible for moderating content within their groups. We reserve the right to remove groups or content that violate these Terms. By creating a public group, you understand that the group is discoverable and joinable by any Bowlski user.
Bowlski may send push notifications about friend activity, personal bests, group posts, and other app events if you grant notification permissions. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.
The Bowlski name, logo, app design, and all original content created by us are owned by Aidan Twamley and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Bowlski without our express written permission.
You may delete your Bowlski account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Deleting your account permanently and immediately removes all of your data, including your profile, game history, stats, posts, and group memberships. This action is irreversible. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Bowlski Pro subscription — you must cancel your subscription separately through your device's subscription settings before deleting your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior harmful to other users or the Bowlski community, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. If your account is terminated for a Terms violation, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees paid.
Bowlski is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We are not responsible for the accuracy of bowling stats calculated from AI-scanned scorecards. We do not guarantee that the app will meet your specific requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aidan Twamley shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Bowlski, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Bowlski shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Bowlski shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time as Bowlski evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Bowlski after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
